Following college, Derek played professionally with the River City Rascals and Brockton Rox, and was later named to the Division III All-Decade Team.
He now focuses on hitting and catching lessons for both baseball and softball athletes.

A former Texas Longhorn standout and professional pitcher, Austin is best known for his legendary 13-inning performance—including 12.1 hitless frames—against Boston College in the longest game in college baseball history.
